Keeping employees engaged in the project to encourage smoking ban is a key element of encouraging staff buy-in. The objective lens of every employer is to employ staffs that are going to be a resource rather than a scrap (Armstrong, 2008). Is such an instance, the two directors should involve the employees in the companys project from the initial stages of the system. Make acquaint the system in use to all the employees (Brief, 2008).Line managers have an easy job of setting the squad together and defining the teams direct ion. The challenge comes in getting the team to buy into the pattern of working together for common objectives of supporting the ban (Boxall & Purcell, 2011). Emphasizing the positive benefits of working as a team to support each other is a way that may create employee buy-in to the project. The line manager should explain to employees the specific reason they have chosen to contribution to the job (Boxall & Purcell, 2011). In a way, the employee leave behind feel proud to be associated in the business if the managers offer unbiased reasons for implementing the ban. Line managers and the supervisors should talk to employees almost how to prioritize the teams work within their regular duties.
